How Do I Remove The Vundo Trojan Horse Virus Using Avg Free Edition?
December 22nd, 2009Author: adminI recently d/l the free version and ran the full scan and it found the Trojan Horse. I clicked on Heal, but it didn’t do anything. I clicked on Virus Vault and see the file listed in there, but how do I get it removed?
Some nasty things that can get onto your computer which can cause lots of damage are viruses/malware/spyware/adware/trojan horses/worms/bots and the list goes on. Since there are so many things like this, it is only appropriate that you have some antivirus software for protection. The ones I use are:
1. AVG Free 8.0
2. Spybot Search and Destroy
3. Adware 2007
These are all free programs which you can get. When you use them all together, they will get rid of all the stuff you don’t want on your computer. Even if they don’t get rid of the virus the first time you scan your computer, they will the next time you update and scan. I’ve never had any trouble on this computer ever since we’ve had those programs. Make sure you run them often if you want maximum security. Remember, these programs only get rid of viruses once they are on your computer. They don’t prevent you from getting them. I hope this has helped.

Vundo(s) ver very hard to remove.. and AVG isn’t enough.
Download Superantispyware and Spybot S&D> then scan your pc with both and remove anything they find. NOTE: Superantispywaer qurantines the infceted files so there is no way teh thing can get back and your 100% clean.
Avg is going out soon i recomment Avira free edition.. awsome program and doesn’t slow ur pc!

Leave it where it is! In the virus vault it can’t do any damage. It is like the equlivlant of being locked in a room with no windows or doors…i.e no way it can get out.
