Vundo virus is known by the name of a couple (Vundo, Trojan Vundo, Virtumonde and VirtuMundo). This virus is a Trojan horse that, in some cases may mean that it is spyware, but also and in this case, which is more true in the sense that the virus tries to convince you to buy something for withdraw. The following is a list of programs that we like to dress up.
– Pro WinAntivirus
– SysProtect
– WinFixer
– ULWindowSeek
– ULWindowURL
– SystemDoctor
– SuperMWindow
Since the virus is constantly changing it may have something else appears asking the same questions. How can you get a virus of this type, it is easy. It infects victims' computers by exploiting a vulnerability in Sun Java 1. 4 and earlier. There is also a vunlerability in IE which can cause the virus to emerge. So make sure you do the Windows updates and have the latest version of Java installed (be sure to remove the previous version as well). These two points are crucial because there are many viruses that come through when your computer is outdated.
Most antivirus software can detect the virus exixts on your machine, but it will be able to eliminate this virus. So how do you go about removing this software, and there are a couple of free tools out there. Symantec has a removal tool that works a little time. Then there is the VundoFix of atribune. org. One that seems to be more complete with 3 different types of detection to make sure that is where it is placed on your computer and get the files deleted. I recommend using these tools, as safemode that increase their probability of being effective because it is only for Windows proccesses do less to get in the way the removal of a success.
I remember how most of these viruses can be avoided by ensuring that you are up to date with all software installed. Any way you look at this virus is a malicious and may take some time to get rid of it, but if you use some removal tools you'll be able to avoid the dreaded format.
